Plunder

Perched precariously on a rocky shoreline, Wavegrave is a haven for the desperate, the daring, and the opportunistic. The town thrives on what the sea casts ashore - wrecked ships, lost treasures, and the jetsam of countless voyages. Its population is a mix of sailors, scavengers, and rogues, with cutthroats and fortune seekers mingling in its shadowy taverns and narrow alleys.

The town's shall water bay is crowded with gondolas and the occasional longship acnhors offshore, bringing trade and plunder from the surrounding waters. Quartermasters oversee these chaotic operations, ensuring that loot is fairly, or unfairly, distributed among the crews. At the edge of town lies the grottoes, cavernous networks of caves where valuables are hidden and secrets are exchanged under the glow of flickering torches.

Life in Wavegrave is harsh, but for those willing to take risks, it offers the promise of riches. Search parties comb the shoreline for newly wrecked treasures, while stowaways seek passage on both incoming and outgoing ships depending on which direction they need to go to escape their troubled pasts. The sea is both friend and foe, and the haunting songs of sirens are said to lure the unwary to watery graves.

Wavegrave thrives on the fine line between survival and greed, its people living by their wits and their courage. The crashing waves carry both danger and opportunity, making the settlement a place of constant flux, where the tide can turn in an instant.
