The port village of Rappenfor clings to the edge of the sea, a modest point of trade and fishing activity. Its proximity to the ominous Spiderspirit Woods gives the settlement an eerie reputation, with whispered tales of curses and haunting shadows spread among travelers. The local fishermen and sailors are superstitious, often carrying protective amulets or charms to ward off bad luck and forest spirits.

Rappenfor thrives on the bounties of the fishing communities and its merchant ships, ensuring steady trade up and down the coast. Yet, the village also contends with challenges: the Swamp Hag, a legendary figure of the woods, is said to curse ships daring to venture too close to the haunted shorelines. The woods themselves are avoided by all but the most daring treasure hunters, who seek out ancient relics hidden within the Dungeon ruins scattered deep inside.
