The Cove is a maze of ramshackle taverns, hidden brothels, and weathered docks that teem with tricksters, cutthroats and smugglers looking to make their fortune.

The town’s heart is the Pirate King’s Cache, a treasure hoard so vast it has become the stuff of legend. Pirates boast of their contributions to the cache, each seeking to cement their place in history. But with riches like these, greed and treachery run rampant. The tricksters of the Cove ply their trade in shadowy corners, whispering schemes to rob their fellow rogues, while cutthroats openly duel for spoils in the chaotic streets.

Amid the skullduggery, the King’s agents move quietly, posing as traders or wanderers. They study the Cove’s tangled politics, looking for weaknesses that might bring the island under the Kingdom’s rule. But the pirates are no fools - they’ve fortified their stronghold, ready for any invasion attempt and have spies of their own ensuring that even the most cunning king's spies face a labyrinth of deceit and danger.

The surrounding jungle provides food for the foragers and a lush hiding place for treasure hunters and exiled pirates alike. Every night, the settlement comes alive with drunken revelry, scheming deals, and the eternal promise of adventure and betrayal.
