It is famed for its sturdy war frigates that cut through stormy seas, carrying raiders and merchants alike on bold expeditions. The heart of the settlement bustles with activity and wealth from riches brought back by successful viking crews. Blacksmiths labor at their forges and smelting crucibles, forging weapons for the burgh’s warriors, who keep would-be invaders at bay as well as taking the fight to them. The viking beserkers are celebrities in Harthaven though most don't live past thirty years of age.
The town’s stables ensure swift equine transport across the rugged, frostbitten terrain, while the brewing halls are known to keep spirits high during the long, dark winters.
