Cragfort lies nestled at the base of a massive ridge, where the echoes of Giants’ footsteps still rumble in the distance. A place of modest means, the villagers here rely on their own cunning and ancient charms to protect against both wandering curses brought by witches and raids from bandits. Messengers dart between campsites dotted throughout the ridgelands where locals and adventurers alike seek gold-rich treasures left lying around by Giants who care not for human trinkets. But the village has a saying "You're less likely to come back rich and more likely not to come back at all if you venture into those hills". Despite its simplicity, the citizens of Cragfort thrive on resilience and a spirit of shared defense.
