Mucket clings to the coast, its small port a restricted harbor for the King’s naval fleet. Merchant ships aren’t dockable here; all trade routes lead inland along the mining roads, where caravans transport metals, sulfur, and crafted treasures to the rest of the realm. The town itself is a curious blend of rugged industry and artistic ingenuity. Craftsmen toil endlessly in their workshops, turning raw materials into tools and intricate jewels, including the famed Jeweled Eggs that make their way to royal courts.

The town’s mines are a sight to behold, worked by an army of ancient Golems, their magic weathered by centuries of use. While they still tirelessly unearth ore and sulfur, the occasional malfunction has turned these once-prized constructs into dangerous liabilities. Some mutter that their presence is cursed, while others see them as a necessary evil.

Mucket’s outskirts are dotted with shacks along the edge of the Greenbug Swamp, ramshackle homes of miners and craftspeople eking out a living near the fetid marshes. Superstition runs high in these parts, not least because of the tricksters rumored to roam the area at night, cursing the unwary. Despite the eerie tales, Mucket remains a vital hub of productivity, with its lifeline secured by the King’s flagship fleet watching over the bay.
