Eroshima is a prosperous and independent town situated along the winding Osikii River. Its wealth flows directly from the earth, as the gold mined in the surrounding hills enriches the craftsfolk, laborers, and merchants who call Eroshima home. This is a town unshackled by aristocratic oversight, where hard work and ingenuity are rewarded, and the townsfolk collectively shape their destiny.

The streets of Eroshima are alive with the sounds of industry and trade. Goldsmiths and miners exchange their finds at bustling market stalls, while rice brokers meticulously secure barrels of rice for consumption as well as storage in hidden storerooms across the labyrinthine town's alleys. These hideouts serve as insurance against the ever-looming threat of attack, ensuring the town's survival even in perilous times.

Eroshima’s scholarly culture thrives alongside its industrial pursuits. Experimentation and study are cornerstones of life here, with scholars and seers lending their wisdom to guide the town’s projects. A friendly colony of Kitsune adds a mystical charm, assisting the people while offering their own brand of cunning insight and magical prowess.

The town's ambitious residents have pooled their wealth to fund the construction of a magnificent Guildhall, designed to streamline and administer the community’s growing wealth and aspirations. However, the fear of turning into a stifling bureaucracy looms large, prompting Eroshima to bring in experienced seers to advise its leaders on wise governance.

Eroshima’s balance of wealth, wisdom, and resourcefulness makes it a model of self-sufficiency, where gold glimmers not only in the mines but in the future its people are shaping with their own hands.
