Draymenport is a remote town perched on the Kingdom's border, its survival tied to the bustling activity of its deep-water port. Cargo ships laden with goods from distant lands dock daily, their crews braving the oppressive rule of Lord Morkus, a cruel and cunning lord who taxes every transaction to line his own coffers. His malicious border guards and hound pack enforce his will, ensuring no dissent escapes his iron grasp. The air in the town is thick with tension, the cobblestone streets echoing with the footsteps of his enforcers.

Yet, amidst this oppression lies a haven of hope: the Sacred Grove. Hidden within a dense forest and protected by its blessed community, the grove is a sanctuary untouched by Morkus’s greed. Here, the School of Nature thrives, its scholars and sculptors delving into the secrets of the natural world. Secret Caves in the hills around the grove offer further protection to those escaping Markus' wrath.

The town itself is a mix of bustling maritime life and weary resignation. The Piazza is a focal point of commerce, where merchants attempt to do business despite Morkus’ relentless taxes. A grand cathedral stands as a beacon of defiance and faith, where citizens gather to pray for freedom and solace.

Draymenport is a town where oppression and hope exist side by side. It is a place where the will of one man is imposed through fear and violence, but where the sacred and the natural quietly resist, offering refuge and inspiration to those brave enough to seek it.
