Arabos is a city of stark contrasts, ruled by a coalition of powerful clergy and ruthless industry magnates. The skyline is dominated by monuments—grand edifices funded by competing factions in an endless bid for influence. The clergy raises towering statues to saints and martyrs, while magnates construct ostentatious tributes to their wealth and enterprises. Beneath this facade of grandeur, however, the city suffers from a deep economic divide.

The poor are relegated to overcrowded slums and shantytowns, often displaced as the rich expand their domains. Meanwhile, the houses of pleasure, once thriving, now face mounting pressure from both factions, their existence tolerated only in the city’s shadowy corners. For every golden dome atop a temple or iron-clad factory, there are ten crumbling tenements where hope is a fleeting luxury.

Despite the oppressive atmosphere, Arabos bustles with activity, from fervent sermons in its cathedrals to the relentless hum of industry. But beneath it all lies a simmering tension, as those without power grow increasingly restless in the shadow of their oppressors.
