DOMINION CAMPAIGN

The university city of Dracofell stands as a shadow of its former self. Its cobbled streets are crowded with desperate beggars and hollow-eyed survivors of the plague. The remaining shops and taverns are under constant threat of pillaging, forcing the wealthier residents to invest in costly iron golem guards, forged at the expert ironmongers and animated by the wizards of the university, to keep their properties intact.

The city's once-vibrant market square is lined with boarded-up stalls, while the towering spires of the university rise above the chaos, their stained-glass windows glinting faintly in the sunlight, a distant memory of the golden age. Beneath Dracofell lies a sprawling network of catacombs, now inhabited by thieves, mercenaries, and outcasts who thrive in the shadows. Rumors abound of forgotten arcane relics buried deep within the tunnels, drawing treasure seekers and mages despite the dangers.

The air is heavy with sorrow and tension, as the few remaining scholars and townsfolk cling to hopes that Dracofell might one day reclaim its dignity. Until then, it remains a study in contrasts - desperation and defiance, knowledge and ruin, magic and decay.
