Pratentell is a vibrant port town gleaming with the wealth of its noble patrons. At its heart, the University of Transmutation rises like a crown jewel, its gilded spires visible from the sea, drawing the envy of less affluent regions. The university is famed across the realm for producing skilled alchemists, scryers and transmuters - but only the privileged few can afford its extravagant tuition fees.

The harbor, a lifeline of commerce, hums with the activity of merchant ships and their crews ferrying rare goods and luxury items, including the town's renowned wines, crafted from the sprawling vineyards encircling the town. These vineyards are worked tirelessly by tenant farmers, who see little of the profits, as most of the wealth is funneled back into the coffers of aristocrats and merchants.

Royal carriages, drawn by magnificent steeds, arrive frequently, bearing dignitaries seeking deals and students with gold enough to pay the steep entrance fees. The streets are lively but stratified, with the glittering university district far removed from the laboring quarters by the docks.
