Urblest is a small, rugged settlement perched on the edge of the eerie Greenbug Swamps, where misty bogs and narrow waterways dominate the landscape. The town’s many bridges crisscross the swamp, connecting Urblest to trade routes. However, these bridges have become dangerous due to trolls demanding tolls - or worse. This has led to the rise of well-armed caravan guards, making every caravan to and from Urblest a heavily guarded affair.

The town is a haven for magic practitioners, drawn by the ley lines that pulse beneath the swampy terrain. Alchemists, apothecaries, and golem crafters make their homes here, perfecting their arts with the rare herbs and magical resources found only in the surrounding marshlands. Dedicated mages work tirelessly to transmute raw magic into precious artifacts like the Philosopher’s Stone.

Urblest’s market square sees everything from herbal remedies to troll charms, but the atmosphere remains tense due to the constant threat of curses and attacks from the swamps. Ratcatchers ply their trade in the narrow streets, keeping infestations at bay while trading gossip of the swamp’s darker secrets.

It is a dangerous yet strangely alluring place, where the promise of fortune and knowledge must be weighed against the ever-present risks of the swamp.
